Important information about TrackALetter's independent status, third-party services, tracking visibility, and current beta environment.

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Independent service

TrackALetter is an independent software service. It is not the United States Postal Service, Pitney Bowes, another carrier, or a government agency. TrackALetter is not endorsed, sponsored, or operated by USPS, Pitney Bowes, or any government agency.

USPS names and trademarks

USPS, United States Postal Service, First-Class Mail, USPS Tracking, and related names, marks, and service names belong to the United States Postal Service. Their use on this site identifies mailing services or explains compatibility and does not imply endorsement.

Pitney Bowes provider technology

Pitney Bowes and related names and marks belong to their respective owners. Where configured, TrackALetter may use Pitney Bowes technology or APIs for address services, rates, labels, tracking, refunds, or postage reporting. That provider relationship does not mean Pitney Bowes endorses TrackALetter.

Tracking limitations

Eligible TrackALetter letters and flats include barcode-based machine-scan tracking. Scan events can show movement through USPS automated sorting equipment and may show delivery-related updates. Scan coverage can vary, events may be skipped or delayed, and this is not Certified Mail, signature confirmation, or guaranteed legal proof of delivery. Packages use supported carrier tracking where available.

Tracking information can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or dependent on carrier and provider systems. TrackALetter does not guarantee a scan, delivery event, or delivery time.

Hosted Sandbox Beta

TrackALetter is currently operated in Hosted Sandbox Beta. Test labels are not production postage and should not be used for actual mailing.
