Letter and flat updates come from USPS mail-processing events and aren't guaranteed. An acceptance event may not appear, and updates can be delayed or incomplete. A delivery indication is not necessarily a physical mailbox scan.

How do I print my label?

Open the label from the success screen or History, print it at actual size, and follow the placement shown on the label.

Can I reprint a label?

Yes. Sign in, open the shipment in History, and use the protected label download. Reprinting does not buy postage again.

What happens if something goes wrong?

Do not buy the same label again. Check History first, then contact support with the order number if the label is still processing or unavailable.

Is letter tracking the same as USPS package tracking?

No. Packages use USPS package tracking. Letters and flats use scans from automated mail-sorting equipment, so their updates can differ.

Is tracking proof of delivery?

No. Tracking is informational and is not guaranteed legal proof of delivery. Choose an appropriate USPS proof service when formal evidence is required.

Why did my letter update early or stop updating?

Automated sorting scans can be early, delayed, skipped, or unavailable. Delivery status may be estimated from the latest processing and routing data.

What does Label created mean?

TrackALetter adds Label created when the label is successfully created. It is a TrackALetter lifecycle milestone, not a USPS scan.

What time is shown for a tracking update?

Carrier updates use the event time supplied by the carrier. Routine tracking checks do not change the displayed shipment time.

Is my label private?

Yes. Label files require signed-in owner access. Public tracking does not show addresses, labels, payment details, or account history.

Pay by card. Eligible digital wallets may also be available. You can also use cleared TrackALetter Balance.

How does Balance work?

Balance is optional. Card-funded Balance is available after payment succeeds. Bank reloads may take several business days to clear.

Can pending bank funds buy labels?

No. Bank reloads cannot buy labels until the payment processor confirms that the funds have cleared.

Can I refund a label?

Eligible unused Package labels may offer a refund request for a limited time. Letter and Flat refund requests are not currently available. Review the Refund Policy before purchase.

Some postage refunds must be approved before the money can be returned.

What if I entered the wrong address or weight?

Do not use an incorrect label. Check its status and request cancellation if available before creating a corrected label.

What happens if USPS adjusts package postage?

USPS may adjust package postage after measuring it. TrackALetter does not automatically charge a saved card for an adjustment without separate authorization.

Can I mail prohibited or restricted items?

No. Follow USPS rules and the TrackALetter Acceptable Use Policy for hazardous, illegal, prohibited, or restricted mail.
